Location: Kazinczy Street, District 7, Budapest, Hungary
Admission is free and so is parking around event area

Budapest’s Kazinczy Street has always been the heart of what is today considered one of Europe’s must see urban attractions with an unmatched atmosphere filled with living Jewish and multicultural tradition dated back to several hundred years.

On Sunday, June 7, Judafest Street Festival revives this exceptional heritage with live performances, concerts and a colorful street fair. Judafest attendees also get the opportunity to explore flavorful authentic Jewish and Polish dishes and a collection of craft art, plus children are offered several activities throughout the day. Also, special city walks offer a special chance to discover the hidden corners of the old Jewish Quarter.

This year Judafest will host Poland as guest of honor at the festival, which will dedicate a series of cultural and culinary gigs to the country. Special guests from Poland include Rzeszow Klezmer Band and celebrity chef Malka Kafka.

Last year’s Judafest’s extraordinary event was the evening get-together around a 50 meters long table installed in Kazinczy Street, where the organizers hosted a dinner for indigent families. This year a similar meal will be held in the spirit of solidarity and raising awareness.

Judafest Street Festival, a truly multicultural event, traditionally attracts both local and foreign visitors, giving them chance to meet old friends and new people.
