Join our thirteenth comedy night hosted by Charmaine Davies and featuring international stars Simon Bligh and Jeremy O’Donnell. As a fifteen-year-old Liverpudlian schoolboy, Simon Bligh was told by his headmaster that he would go to hell. His mum wanted him to be a priest; he wanted to be a plumber. His dad was a mad Catholic Communist; he was a Kung Fu mad Buddhist.

Growing up in Toxteth, his childhood was odd but full of strange passions. The young Simon loved comedy and, upon seeing a Richard Pryor film, he realised his true calling. Ten years on, Simon is one of the finest and most sought after performers in the UK.

Jeremy mixes sharp one-liners with friendly story-telling and sparkling off-the-cuff wit. His cheeky smile and friendly nature have endeared him to audiences all over Britain and Berlin, Bahrain, Hong Kong, Paris, Manila, Shanghai and Zurich. He is also a prolific writer who regularly updates his set with topical and observational material.

Charmaine Davies has performed stand-up and hosted at countless comedy venues and events throughout the UK, including supporting Jo Brand in London's West End. Her unique sense of humour has kept the audiences laughing on both sides of the Atlantic. Charmaine hosts the cult comedy show ‘Funny Fursdays’ at The Hotel Pelirocco in Brighton. She recently starred in a TV mockementary about the shows.

“Absolute mastery of the crowd” – Chortle
“Jeremy was the best act of the night; by far” – The Daily Mirror
“Charmaine will always be a headline act at my club” – Ray Gold – The New Winchester Club
