US Embassy Budapest: 9/11 Memorial Blood Drive
On the 14th anniversary of 9/11, the U.S. Embassy and the Hungarian Red Cross are organizing a blood drive to honor the victims of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, and to commemorate the U.S. National Day of Service and Remembrance.

Location: Hungarian Red Cross Budapest headquarters, 5th district, Arany János u. 31.

Time and date: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Friday, September 11.

Chargé Edward Loo will be in attendance, and will be available for short interviews with the press about this event. We appreciate the support of the Hungarian media in helping us honor this day in a positive way.

Further information and arrival time will be given to those who register.

As this is a public event, be prepared to undergo a security check at the entrance. Do not bring laptops, iPads or any similar devices as those will not be allowed in. Cell phones are allowed. Still and video cameras will need to be screened.
