Diplomat Spouses Visit Sándor Palace In Budapest
Hungary’s First Lady Anita Herczegh received the spouses of diplomats stationed in Hungary at the Sándor Palace. The First Lady organises recreational and cultural programmes for the wives and husbands of mission leaders twice a year, the president’s office said in a statement.

Early in the summer Herczegh and her guests visited Herend, the site of a porcelain manufactory in western Hungary, and Tihany by Lake Balaton. Last year a visit to Parliament was organised.

On this fourth occasion the meeting was at the Sándor Palace, where guests went on a tour of the building.

The guests included 32 wives of diplomats from Azerbaijan, France, Poland, Cuba, Pakistan and Nigeria, among other states, as well as three husbands from the embassies of the US, Mexico and Lithuania.
