US May Boost Military Presence In Hungary
US President Barack Obama plans to considerably increase the amount of heavy weaponry, armoured vehicles and other military hardware in Central and East European NATO member countries to deter Russia from carrying out aggression in the region, The New York Times reported on Wednesday.

Pentagon officials say Hungary, Romania and the Baltic states are among those countries where military weaponry and forces would be deployed.

Hungary has not yet received any official notification about the potential deployment, government officials told Magyar Idõk.
