Hungarians Blame EU For Brexit

Britain is wrong to leave the EU, but the EU is to blame for the Brexit vote, a 60% majority of Hungarians told the government-linked Századvég institute in a recent survey. Most respondents, 69%, agreed that Great Britain is leaving because the EU does not listen to the public on critical matters such as illegal immigration. One-fourth said the decision to leave the EU has another cause.
However, nearly two-thirds disagree with the UK’s decision to leave the EU and less than one-third approve of it.
Almost all respondents, 98%, had heard about the result of the British referendum.
