"GIVING in to public pressure, the Budapest Transport Company (BKV) has decided to make public the details of the contract for the purchase of the Combino trams, after obtaining the consent of manufacturer Siemens last Wednesday.Representatives of the press could study just one copy of the contract under close surveillance on Wednesday, but by Thursday BKV made it more readily and widely available.
According to Hungarian media reports, Budapest has no right to return the faulty Combinos to Siemens and to demand the return of money paid."
