Two men passing a stripped-down space, in their bodies live together the terrible and the beauty, the animalistic, the capricious, the urge, the extreme strength and the neglect. These bodies do not go around with delicacies, and without giving truce to erotism, graze with a brutal emotive nature.
The portraits or situations that occur, push them to uncertain areas, putting them face to face with the physical boundaries between each other. This confrontation puts this bodies vulnerable and ready for multiple mutations.
The piece is a contemporary dance duet that takes places in a stripped space. Created by Ramiro Cortez and Federico Fontán, the play won the "Bienal de ArteJoven de Buenos Aires". The prize consisted in its production, and the designation of Ciro Zorzoli, as the project tutor.
The imaginary that drove the creation of the play was confirmed by the animality, the brutality, the visceral things, the physical neglect and the ambiguity between extreme strength and beauty. We built scenes that propose attempts of relationships between the characters.
The succession of attempts reveals several mutations, which show our own physical boundaries and the ones of the other. Each scene presents a new and overcoming look in relation to the body.
