Inspired by the woods, Nastaran Razawi Khorasani explores the fake and the real. Surrounded by the real nature of the forest, she plays something artificial, the fake version that people make of real nature.
Well, the onrealistic, romantised nature that exists in her city-influenced imagination.
Think of heavy thunderstorms, tropical rain, the sound of parrots and waterfalls. She playbacks familiar popsongs that refer to nature with fake flowers, animals and forest wallpaper in the back.
