Jewish Cultural Festival, Budapest, 4 - 11 September
Two new venues were added to this year's festival, two beautiful synagogues: one on Bethlen square and one in Hegedűs Gyula street. Organisers told XpatLoop, "this year’s multi-arts festival will have a wide variety of events featuring literature, music, dance, and children’s show for the youngest audience."

Prose works and poetry in the interpretation of great actors, and organisers say they have the honor to host star guests from the United States, Israel and Serbia.

The music lineup is diverse and offers something for everyone’s tastes from klezmer to jazz, swing and rock. Many of the performances will be unplugged, unlike in the past. The intimate acoustic music experience fits well with the world of beautiful synagogues.

As an unconcealed aim, the Festival intends to contribute to the strengthening of tolerance through the meeting of cultures.
