Taiwan Also Bans Hungarian Poultry
The food safety authority Nébih has ordered all poultry farmers to keep their livestock in covered areas, preferably closed on all sides, in response to the outbreak of a new bird flu epidemic.

In addition, fodder must be stored in closed areas separately for separate species.

Taiwan yesterday became the eighth country to ban imports of poultry from Hungary.

Canada and Hong Kong have banned poultry imports from Békés county, while Serbia has banned poultry from within 50 kilometres of the breakout.

South Africa, Israel, Japan and Singapore imposed bans earlier.
