Austria Foreign Minister Praises Cooperation With Hungary
Austria has always maintained good cooperation with Hungary, especially with Péter Szijjártó, its current foreign minister, Austrian foreign minister Sebastian Kurz told MTI.

Kurz, who talked to journalists late on Thursday, said that Austria and Hungary had a shared interest in protecting the European Union’s external borders and reducing the number of refugees.

Central Europe cannot accommodate refugees indefinitely and EU member states should contribute more to the protection of the Schengen borders in terms of financing and human resources, the minister said.

He added that Austria’s police and military were ready to provide help for such efforts.
