IAEA Sets Up New Centre Within Hungary Academy Of Sciences
The Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA) is the first organisation in the world to be selected for institutional collaboration with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in the area of nuclear security research, the academy said.

In line with the document received by Ákos Horváth, director general at the MTA Centre for Energy Research, the IAEA Collaborating Centre for Nuclear Forensics will start work in December at the MTA Centre for Energy Research.

The IAEA has set up collaborating research centres in other areas but this will be the first one in nuclear forensics and security, the statement said.
