Housing Sales Declined In 2016

Home sales were down 5% in 2016, to 128,400, property agency Duna House estimates. The drop is due to the boom in home construction, as new houses are sold in the construction phase and appear in the sales statistics only later, Duna House pointed out.
In December, only 8,500 homes were sold, the lowest in any month of 2016, and also down from more than 10,000 one year earlier.
