Dr Ignatieff (pictured below) gave a heart-warming commencement speech, referring to his own 18 year old self and the need to work throughout life to develop and maintain a loving relationship.

Mr Richard Dyer, Principal of BISB, spoke to the graduates of the need to develop the self before seeking possessions, urging them to reflect on the school’s mission which states, “We act with integrity. We are true to ourselves, our values and our community.”

BISB is a Nord Anglia Education school of around 70 nationalities, educating students through the National Curriculum for England, GCSEs and IGCSEs and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.

Each year, graduates go on to top universities across Europe, North America and Asia, with many gaining places at the prestigious Russell Group universities in the United Kingdom.

BISB is currently expanding in student numbers and in physical facilities, with a new sports facility due to open for the 2017-18 school year.

Richard Dyer (pictured below) concluded his speach by saying, "So, graduates of the British International School Budapest – let your lights shine, as they do today; be true to who you are and to who you are becoming. We’ve been privileged to have you with us."

Enquiries for admission are through the school website: www.bisb.hu
