Speaking after the third session of the Hungary-Mexico mixed economic committee, Magyar highlighted Mexico’s growing weight in terms of Hungarian foreign trade, adding that Hungary’s exports to Mexico had increased by nearly 60 percent last year. Mexico, the second largest economy in its region, is considered an economic and political ally for Hungary in the long term, Magyar said.

Armando Lopez Trujillo, Mexico’s deputy director-general for bilateral economic relations, said his country was glad to be participating in the cooperation which started two years ago, and was committed to further deepening relations.
