Now Showing In Budapest: 'The Greatest Showman'
"Inspired by the legend and ambitions of America's original pop-culture impresario, P.T. Barnum, comes an inspirational rags-to-riches tale of a brash dreamer who rose from nothing to prove that anything you can envision is possible and that everyone, no matter how invisible, has a stupendous story worthy of a world-class spectacle."

Movie type: Drama Musical - This musical based on the life of P.T. Barnum is aimed at audiences of all ages though there is some alcohol drinking, mild violence, and some mature themes. However, most families with kids past the toddler age will find this to be fairly harmless viewing. Fans of Hugh Jackman will definitely savor this song and dance showcase for him, while the other notable cast members such as Zac Efron, Zendaya, and Michelle Williams have their musical moments to shine in supporting roles.

Director: Michael Gracey

Script: Michael Arndt, Jenny Bicks, Bill Condon

Starring: P.T. Barnum - Hugh Jackman, Phillip - Zac Efron, Zendaya , Jenny Lind - Rebecca Ferguson

Length: 1 hr. 45 min.

Rated: PG

Reviews:

Stephanie Zacharek - TIME Magazine - Top Critic: ”For sheer, go-for-broke nuttiness, The Greatest Showman stands alone in the landscape of this holiday season's crop of movies, and I urge you to give it a chance.”

Brian Lowry - CNN.com - Top Critic: ”The joy the performers exhibit is practically contagious, and helps carry the movie over its drier patches.”

Jocelyn Noveck - Associated Press - Top Critic: ”It often feels like a collection of slickly produced music videos, loosely tied together with a plot we're not supposed to care too much about.”
