"A US FedEx cargo plane was subject to a 12-hour rescue procedure when asphalt collapsed under it at Ferihegy airport on Saturday. No one was injured.The rescue operation was prolonged because technical staff were running at one-third capacity, Magyar Hírlap writes.
Budapest Airport press spokesman Mihály Hardy told the daily that the duration of a rescue operation has no bearing on how many staff members the airport operator employs.
The National Transport Authority Air Transport Management has launched an inquiry."
