Budapest Transport Strike Ends After Six Days

"Employees of Budapest's transport authority (BKV) plan to end a six-day strike after Sunday midnight, according to an agreement Sunday evening between the unions and the BKV management over conditions of a new collective contract. Unions representing almost half of the 12,000 employees of Budapest's municipal public transport company BKV began industrial action before dawn on Tuesday, calling for better pay and conditions."
