Now Showing In Budapest: 'Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs'
"An inventor creates a machine designed to turn water into food. More surprising, it works. The food weather is an instant success. But when the people get greedy and kept asking for more and more food, the machine starts behaving erratically, unleashing spaghetti tornadoes and giant meatballs."

Movie type: Animated Comedy - This is an animated fantasy/comedy aimed at the entire family. While based on the children's book and the 3-D having a lot of kid appeal, this is one that moviegoers of all ages should enjoy.

Director: Chris Miller, Phil Lord

Writer: Judi Barrett, Ron Barrett

Script: Phil Lord, Chris Miller

Starring: Bill Hader (Voice of Flint Lockwood), Anna Faris (Voice of Sam Sparks), James Caan (Voice of Tim Lockwood), Bruce Campbell (Voice of Mayor Shelbourne)

Length: 1 hr. 30 min.

Reviews:

Roger Ebert: “Above Average I've seen a lot of 3-D recently, and in terms of technical quality, this is the best.”

USA Today: “Good Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs is a surprisngly savory treat, though it doesn't bear much resemblance to the charming classic children's book on which it's based.”

Newsday: “Good Clever and zippy, with some nutritional value hidden in the fun.”

Chicago Tribune: “Above Average Crazy doesn’t always equal funny, and the gigantism of this 3-D offering’s second half puts a damper on your enjoyment. But look: This film wasn’t made for you, or me. It was made for dangerously easily distracted 9-year-olds.”
