Gas Supply Remains Uncertain

Gas Supply Remains Uncertain
"Energy Minister Csaba Molnár could not confirm that natural gas supply had restarted from Russia to Hungary when he addressed a press conference Tuesday morning.

He said the partial restriction on industrial gas consumption will be lifted when eastern imports substantially exceed 7 million m3 per daily. Restrictions remain in force on large entitles that consume more than 2,500m3 of gas per hour.

Hungary received 4 million m3 of gas via Austria yesterday; and forwarded 4.7 million m3 to Serbia and 1.5 million m3 to Bosnia & Hercegovina.

“We have passed the coldest winter days. Warmer weather is expected this week, which is positive from the gas consumption point of view,” Molnár declared."
