Invitation: Gouba Open Bazaar, Every Sunday In Budapest
Similar to Portobello Market in London, or Via Marguttara in Rome, and Shuk HaCarmel in Tel Aviv, you can find an art market in downtown Budapest - at the Gozsdu courtyard, called Gouba. The bazaar is held between 10 am and 6 pm every Sunday, and has free entry for all.

There are entertainment and shopping facilities for Hungarian and expat adults and children in this open shopping street, where antiquities traders, book shops, designers as well as arts-and craftspeople offer their products.

A good atmosphere is provided by street musicians, jugglers, exhibitions, a play house, together with real Hungarian delicacies – kürtőskalács (cake), rétes (strudel), kenyérlángos (fried bread), selected wine and special pálinka, champagne and wine outlet.

Exhibitors and programme elements change every Sunday, and the organisers aim to create, "a fresh and exciting cavalcade for Gozsdu visitors in keeping with guests’ needs and interests".
