Now Showing In Budapest: 'Horton Hears a Who'
"An imaginative elephant named Horton hears a faint cry for help coming from a tiny speck of dust floating through the air. Although Horton doesn't know it yet, that speck houses an entire city named Who-ville, inhabited by the microscopic Whos, led by the Mayor.

Despite being ridiculed and threatened by his neighbors who think he has lost his mind, Horton is determined to save the particle...because "a person's a person no matter how small."

Movie type: Animated - This is an animated adaptation of the classic children's book by Dr. Seuss. Kids and families are the main target, but the film holds appeal for all ages and audiences.

Director: Steve Martino, Jimmy Hayward

Script: Ken Daurio, Cinco Paul

Starring: Jim Carrey (Horton’s voice), Steve Carell, Will Arnett

Length: 1 hr. 28 min.

Reviews:

”Good While I would not place Horton Hears a Who! on the same level as some of the best animated films, it's acceptable family fare.” Berardinelli, Internet Critic

”Very Good Horton's definition of the term ASAP — "Act swiftly, awesome pachyderm" — suggests sage advice to moviegoers: Act swiftly and go see this awesome pachyderm strut his stuff.” USA Today

”Good Thankfully, this colorful adaptation has filled out Horton's original adventure without losing sight of its simple but important message.” TV Guide Online
