"ATV television station has sacked Népszava deputy editor János Dési for hosting "without permission" last Saturday’s Democratic Coalition rally, Népszabadság reports. Dési said he had made a major tactical error in a world where everybody is playing tactics.Zsolt Gréczy, former communications advisor to Ferenc Gyurcsány has been taken off an interactive show that began only two weeks ago.
Gréczy will remain on another show, called Forum.
An ATV source told Magyar Hírlap that the station has not changed its values but does not plan to become a propaganda vehicle for the Democratic Coalition.
“We do not wish to push the cart of a group that does not have much social support,” the source said."
