"MÁV-Start, the state passenger railway company, carried 120,000 more passengers on its international lines in the first eight months of the year than in the same period of 2010, CEO Zsolt Monszpart announced. The growth was largest on lines to Austria, Slovakia and Romania.MÁV-Start carries about 2 million passengers annually, on a total 250 million kilometres.
Monszpart attributed the growth to a competitive timetable, comfortable services, night lines and value for money.
MÁV-Start yesterday opened a new international ticket desk at Keleti station."
