"The latest temporary exhibit at the Castle Museum of the Budapest History Museum awaits its visitors with the life work of Jenő Paizs Goebel (1896-1944), one of the most determining figures of 20th century Hungarian Fine Art.Although the style of Paizs Goebel was influenced by many different schools, his unique approach in creating a distinctive synthesis declines to be identified with any.
His name is closely related to the flowering of the Szentendre School; however, his life work seems more devoted to the fundamental questions of then-contemporary Hungarian and universal art.
