Joint Hungarian-Swedish Stamp Issue In Memory Of Raoul Wallenberg |

 "Magyar Posta and the Swedish Post are planning a joint stamp issue in May 2012 in honour of the centenary of the birth of Raoul Wallenberg. The joint stamp issue will coincide with the opening of a special thematic exhibition in the Stamp Museum in Budapest entitled “Rescuers”.Photo: Hungarian stamp and first day cover from 1992, on Wallenberg’s 80th anniversary of birth.
The organisers of the exhibition are selecting from international special stamp issues on the subject of humanism and philanthropy.
The material of the exhibition will also be displayed at the venue of the Conference on Democracy and Human Rights (CODE) to be held in Budapest in June 2012. "
