"The first concert in the Mini Matinée series is a joyous trip with a guide into the world of brass instruments. Besides playing popular works, the musicians have a playful quiz for children and will show them their musical instruments.Anyone who comes will learn how many meters of brass pipe has to be carefully wrapped up to make a horn, whether a trumpet will fit inside a tuba or how you can push along a trombone and that if you are a brass player, blowing raspberries is perfectly normal.
The Liszt Prize winning Ewald Brass Quintet now present their new children’s programme to the young audience of the Palace of Arts before they set off on their North American tour.
The performances will be followed by creative educational activities at the Ludwig Museum.
