Now Showing In Budapest: 'Logan Lucky'
"Two brothers attempt to pull off a heist during a NASCAR race in North Carolina."

Movie type: Comedy Crime Drama - This film is a comic ensemble heist thriller in the vein of director Steven Soderbergh's previous Ocean's films, but the approach is the completely opposite one, trading in Vegas glamour for the grime of lower working class. While generally an ensemble film, Channing Tatum plays the main character, with others such as Daniel Craig, Katie Holmes, and Adam Driver in supporting roles of varying size. Language, some violence, and adult subject matter make the film not for young kids.

Director: Steven Soderbergh

Script: Rebecca Blunt

Starring: Jimmy Logan - Channing Tatum, Clyde Logan - Adam Driver, Joe Bang - Daniel Craig

Length: 1 hr. 59 min.

Reated: PG-13

Reviews:

Roger Ebert: “Very Good ...it's precision-tooled entertainment made by experts, and sometimes more than that. Watching it is like finding money in the pocket of a coat that you haven't worn in years. ...not a deep or particularly original film and isn't trying to be...”

USA Today: “Good Southern flavor, rampant goofiness and fun twangs go a long way in making director Steven Soderbergh's cinematic return such a sparkling hoot. A chicken-fried treat akin to Smokey and the Bandit and Cannonball Run, with a little Blues Brothers tossed in...”

NY Post: “Good ...a loopy cross between his Ocean's series and the lighter side of the Coen brothers' work. It's a lark, if you can tolerate the hammy redneck accents, and confirms that Soderbergh is as agile as ever at knitting together all the moving parts of a complex heist.”

Rolling Stone: “Very Good ...a cool breeze of summertime sweetness... ...it's a terrific, twisty, funny-as-hell crime flick about so-called hicks who decide that making America great again starts right at home. It's true that any hack can string together the elements of a heist film suspense, humor, convoluted plot, trick ending. Soderbergh, however, knows how to make those babies dance. ”
