"The number of mobile subscriptions in Hungary grew by 61,000 in July. At the end o the month Hungary's three mobile carriers had 11.601 million subscribers. The number of mobile subscriptions per 100 inhabitants came to 115.5, up from 102.3 in July 2007, the National Communications Authority (NCA) has reported on Thursday.Based on the number of active mobile SIM cards, the market share of Pannon was 35.20% in July, down marginally from 35.22% in June. T-Mobile's market share dropped to 43.94% from 44.03%, while Vodafone managed to increase its market share to 20.86% from 20.75%.

The number of subscriptions actually generating traffic was 10.339 million in the seventh month of the year, 77,000 more than in June.
Based on this figure, the market share of T-Mobile's dropped to 44.73% from 45.93%, that of Pannon fell to 33.17% from 33.27%, while Vodafone carved out a larger slice of the market than in June, 22.11% vs. 21.80% in the previous month.
The subscribers of the three mobile operators carried 3,549 numbers in July and 223,234 numbers since number portability is available since May 2004."
