Race Night at The Caledonia, 19 March

You will all be aware of the huge challenge that our friends Harry Harron and Simon Saunders are about to undertake. They leave Budapest on 1 April to start their 250km run across The Sahara.www.harryandsimon.wordpress.com

This promises to be fun evening that allows us to contribute to the 50 000 euro target. We are aleady half way there.

Please see the Race Card attached. I would ask you to consider supporting the event in one of two ways. Or indeed both.

1) Sponsor a Race for 10 000 HUF. This race will then be given any name you wish. For example The Caledonia Handicap Stakes. As the main sponsor of the race we would then ask you to include an additional prize that will be handed out on the night to someone who has selected the winning horse. For example: A meal for 2 at The Caledonia.

If your company is sponsoring a race please also attach a copy of your company logo.

2) Become a Racehorse Owner for 1 000 HUF. Simply select the race and the name of the horse you want to own. Send me your name and promise to give me 1 000 HUF when you are next in The Caledonia - or the next time we see each other. The owner of the winning horse in each race will receive a bottle of Scotch whisky.
