'Rajko Folk Ensemble', The Danube Palace, 9 October

'Rajko Folk Ensemble', The Danube Palace, 9 October
"At 8pm the world famous Rajko Orchestra offers a unique musical experience. Their performance is based on the tradition of century old Gipsy folklore and music.

The Rajko Orchestra and the Rajko Folk Ensemble are based in Budapest, and perform in many different formations.

The fifty strong main orchestra and the six to eight chamber ensembles are both celebrated on the world's most prestigious stages. They also accompany well known soloists and dance ensembles.

The incredible range of their repertoire covers many genres from classical to folk music, and from operettas to gipsy music and of course, folklore dances.

With their very successful shows, the ensemble have been on tours throughout Europe, North and South America, Australia and Far East.

Now back in their hometown, you can enjoy this folklore ensemble, combining traditional music and dance to a brilliant show."
