Video Report: Smiling Hospital Foundation Grand Gala 2011
"The fourth Grand Gala of the Smiling Hospital Foundation in Budapest was a great success in terms of fun and funds. 170 guests enjoyed a superb charity event. The dining hall had a wonderful atmosphere on the evening of 3 December, the buffet was sumptuous and the music from the Bohém Ragtime Jazz Band was outstanding. The financial result was a net income (after expenses) of HUF 3.2 million - this will cover the costs of two months activities of the foundation in 2012.

Arias beautifully sung by Andrea Rost; they competed in a “musical game” and “painting guessing game”, listened to a brief lecture by Dr András Béres about the scientific studies of the “smiling activities” for children in hospitals.

Founder Éva Csáky Bornemisza and Board-President Dr Albert Royaards thanked at the end Mrs Katalin Schmitt, the wife of the President of Hungary for her Patronage, Ambassador György Bánlaki for being such gracious and humorous Master of Ceremonies, the performing artists, the sponsors and all the guests, who attended the gala for a very good cause and in spite of the economic crisis in Hungary and worldwide.

All participants were winners, but the most important winners are children in hospitals as the website will explain in details: www.smilinghospital.com
