Retro Budapest - Previously Unseen Footage

Hungarian life in the 60s and 70s from TV news and propaganda film footage.

The collection will be flown home on a Malev flight under special security arrangements before February 25, although the exact date of the delivery has not been made public for security reasons. The books are expected to be officially returned to Hungary in the presence of Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 28. They will then be returned to the National Szechenyi Library for an assessment of their condition. From early March until the middle of June they will be displayed at the National Museum, after which they will be transferred to Sarospatak Calvinist College."
