See What Happened @ Veritas Wine Dinner
Veritas recently opened a neat downtown wine-foodie place, designed by Viktor Csap it has a unique ambience: it feels like a slice of London's Soho in the heart of downtown Budapest.

Inside you can choose from amongst 380 wines, which could keep you there for some time. Moi and fellow wine enthusiasts, along with some true connoisseurs, were invited for a special tasting event featuring both fine drinks and food.

We were treated to six sumptuous glasses paired with dishes prepared by Attila Jakab and Dániel Tőkés, and they were all wonderful. As someone who treats his 'body like a temple' these days, I initially thought this amount of yummy delights might be a tad overpowering for my slender waistline. However the food just melted in your mouth and the wines almost drank themselves.

For any of you out there that might be scratching your head for what to do for a jolly group get-together, this place is well worth giving a whirl. The food is so scrummy - everything is prepared using local and regional ingredients - the wines are fab, and the staff really know their stuff. All you have to do is sip, sip, sip the night away!
