See What Happened @ XpatLoop's Harvest Festival Networking Event, Sofitel
100+ Xpats, including many high-level members of international community in Budapest, came together to socialise at XpatLoop's latest networking event - this time at Sofitel's magnificently located Chain Bridge hotel. This 'Harvest Festival' themed occasion featured beautiful riverside views, fine finger food, 'wine casino games', and unlimited quality wine tasting.

Deff Haupt, Executive Chef and F&B Director at the hotel, arranged a delcious selection of finger food, including salmon tartar, quality cold cuts, luxury cheeses, artisan breads, plus mini deserts.

A friendly group of expats and cosmopolitan locals enjoyed the lovely nibbles served at the start, followed by free-flowing fine domestic and international wines, inc. prosecco, served for the rest of the event.

Jean Bowcott, General Manager at Sofitel Budapest Chain Bridge (pictured on the mic), made a warm welcome to everyone as the sun went down and the evening event got into full swing.

Stephen Linfitt, Publisher of XpatLoop.com, and Nóra Szegedi, Xpat Wine Club Manager, thanked Jean and all those involved before introducing the beautiful wines on show from:

- Grand Tokaj, LPS, Thummerer, Vesztergombi, Vylyan, plus some Italian prosecco and other sparkling surprises, all thanks to Veritas.

Hostesses from ProHuman arranged the registration smoothly, chilled tunes by Mr. T created a cool vibe, and terrace heaters kept guests nice and warm all night at this outdoor event near the Danube.

'Wine casino games' from TasteandPlay.com provided relevant 'edutainment', and after a good few hours of fun guests departed from this Xpat Wine Club networking event feeling happy they attended.

"A wonderful and well organised event. Beautiful backdrop of the Buda castle at this Xpat event at Sofitel. Great way to make new connections, and catch up with friends," said Chris Russell, Head of Primary, BISB.

"Very enjoyable XpatLoop event, again!" said Paul Slocombe, Director of AISB. "Such a great event!" said Angela Fairs, Principal of BBIS (pictured below with Petra Szalai, Managing Director of BBIS).

"Great event, perfectly organised, met old and new friends, business and new business, great wine, great food, a fantastic evening!" said Chris Clarke, Director at Clarke & White Real Estate Budapest:
