'September Festival', Bókay Garden Budapest, 3 - 5 September
"During the 11th September Festival, which will be held on 3-5 September 2010, internationally recognised master chefs, world championship dance groups, Olympic and world champion sportsmen and women, politicians from the European Parliament, famous artists and – as in every year – 80,000 visitors are expected at the festival to listen to music, dance, cook and take part in competitions.

We would like everybody to find delicious food, a performer, an event, or facilities for entertainment and playing sports according to their preferences - be they children, adults, single or married visitors, men or women, Hungarian or foreign guests. The swirling crowd in the Street of Flavours can taste baked pancakes, honey, pálinka, wines, home-made strudel, local cakes baked on the spot, and Hungarian jams. In addition, guests can also buy products made of lavender, and they can become acquainted with the operation of early grape press machines.

This year we would like to set gastronomy-related records again. A record will be to cook a surprise meal in a 4,251-litres kettle and to prepare a Somló sponge cake with a diameter of about 3.4 metres."
