Siemens Built 430MW E.ON CCGT Power Plant Inaugurated In Hungary |
|
"The Gonyu combined cycle power plant in Hungary was officially inaugurated in the presence of State President Pal Schmitt. The plant began commercial operation in May of this year. Siemens Energy built the power plant for E.ON on a turnkey basis. Thanks to its high efficiency of over 59 percent and low nitrogen oxide emissions it is the country's most ecofriendly power plant. It is also characterized by high operating flexibility, short startup and fast cycling capability – features which are become more and more important against the backdrop of the increasing feed-in of fluctuating wind-based power."Source: pennergy.com
