Spotlight On 'Active Citizenship' By U.S. Embassy In Budapest
In January 2012, the U.S. Embassy in Hungary launched an initiative to recognize active citizenship. Throughout the year and across the country, Ambassador Kounalakis recognizes citizens and organizations that are working to make a difference in their communities. Each month we feature the most recent recipient of the Ambassador’s Active Citizenship Award on our website and on the U.S. Embassy Budapest Facebook page.

Nominations

We need your help to recognize Active Citizens from around Hungary.

Please send your nominations for the Active Citizenship Award to active.citizenship@usembassy.hu.

In your message please include: the nominator’s name, city, phone number, and e-mail address; and the nominee’s name, city, phone number, e-mail address, profession/area of expertise, community service project, and the justification for nomination."
