"The two-hour warning strike announced by pilots for today does not impact on the Malév operation. The pilots' union has called the work stoppage between 11.40 am - 1.40 pm on 10 June as part of its demands for the airline to increase the pay/salary of pilots flying Q400 turboprops by 30%.Given the current difficult position of the airline and the entire recession affecting the industry, Malév is unable to accede to such a demand.
Malév requests its passengers to arrive at the airport as usual since the airline's timetable will not be affected by the warning strike."
