This is a gourmet Italian style restaurant, on the first floor of the Béke Hotel - the successor to the legendary Britannia Hotel, which was established in the early 1900s. Today Olive's Restaurant uses only the finest olive oils in preparing a wide array of Mediterranean and Hungarian dishes.This cosy and colourful restaurant is a perfect gathering spot for family and friends on Sundays for Brunch. Its a sumptuous affair, with a personal ambience, as friendly waiters help guests choose from the many freshly prepared delicacies on offer.
Traditional Hungarian favourites tempt along side Italian classics, all prepared with a sensitivity towards modern standards. Example dishes include light yet tasty duck liver mousse, smoked salmon appetiser, main courses range from perfectly prepared calamari rings to wonderfully tender beef slow cooked in red wine.
An extensive wine list provides a choice to perfectly compliment each dish, house wines are included in the fee of just less than HUF 5000 per person. The deserts selection is decent, and coffee is included too.
Chef László Héjja puts on an outstanding display via the show kitchen, and live music contributes well to complete the satisfying Mediterranean experience.
