'The Art Of Making Coffee', Hungarian Museum Of Trade And Tourism, Shown Now
"A temporary exhibition jointly organised by the Hungarian Museum of Trade and Tourism and the Hungarian Museum of Science, Technology and Transport.

We make it and we drink it. Is that all? But how did the coffee-shrub get to the coffee pot? And what is it like?

How is “Turkish coffee” made, what test tubes were used by French chemists for experimenting, what exactly happens inside a “chucking” coffeepot or the armed espresso coffee machine, how was a coffee machine made and repaired in the “private business era” in Pest and which way are we going today?

If you are curious to know all this – together with lots of other interesting facts – come and see hundreds of small and large coffee machines, get a smell and taste of coffee and enjoy the Barista show."

Shown until 24 October 2010.
