Now Showing In Budapest: 'The Nanny Diaries'

Now Showing In Budapest: 'The Nanny Diaries'
"Fresh out of college, Annie is pressured by her mother to find a respectable position in the business world. Annie accepts the position as a nanny for a wealthy family. She learns that life is not very rosy on the other side of the tax bracket. Life becomes more complicated when she falls for a neighbor."

Movie type: Comedy Drama Romantic - This is a comedy aimed squarely at the female audience, both young and old. Fans of Scarlett Johansson and Laura Linney will have plenty to savor here though fans of Paul Giamatti and Alicia Keys may be disappointed by their fairly limited screen time.

Director: Robert Pulcini, Shari Springer Berman

Writer: Emma McLaughlin, Nicola Kraus

Script: Shari Springer Berman, Robert Pulcini

Starring: Scarlett Johansson (Annie Braddock), Chris Evans (Harvard Hottie), Donna Murphy (Judy Braddock), John Henry Cox (Dean)

Length: 1 hr. 47 min.

Reviews:

"Above Average But the movie itself is sort of bland and obvious and comfortable." Roger Ebert

"Average The very rich are different from you and me. And much worse. That's basically the message of the disappointingly banal Nanny Diaries, a film that is even more lightweight and clichd than the fluff that was the best-selling book." USA Today

"Good But the movie belongs to Linney, who brings a full-blooded dimension to what could have been a misogynistic cutout." TV Guide Online

"Above Average The movie reconciles such spongy ambivalence with an even spongier climax that you're forced to buy, moisture and all." Newsday
