 "Waves by Marta Kucsora is currently on view at Art Factory I (formerly Sparks) until July 15. The water-themed paintings depict the vibrant clash between abstract and figurative art.Kucsora’s focus is on the motion, essence and liquid nature of water, which she strives to depict through the medium of paint. She starts with a specific visual idea, but rather than painting a waterfall or wave she replays the story on the canvas, using the liquid medium of paint to depict the thunder of the water or the crash of the waves, integrating incidents of accidental creation into the composition.
