Dear Member, since Spring has sprung, here's a couple of inspirational video articles about excursions in the Hungarian countryside. BTW no worries if you don’t have a car

* Xplore the House of Music in Fertőd, The Hungarian Versailles - composer Joseph Haydn once lived in this 18th-century Baroque building.

* Relive Hungarian history in Ópusztaszer - this former puszta settlement is known today for its impressive memorial exhibition, dedicated to the founding Magyars.

After a short video, each of those articles includes a brief description of what you can see and do, along with how to get there... Yes Autorent currently has some great deals in case you fancy driving a Cirtoen C1 for less than Euro 10 / day, a BMW 120 for Euro 25 / day, or an Audi A6 for Euro 50 / day. Click here for more info.

Now here's hoping you like what's included for you below.
Yours sincerely with kind regards, Stephen@XpatLoop.com

It’s the anniversary of the Hungarian Revolution of 1848, a freedom fight that became a war of independence against the Austrian Empire. The March 15 holiday is always special, but this year will be especially so because the festivities will include the reopening of the completely renovated Kossuth Square in downtown Budapest, site of Hungary’s Parliament. Read on for details about the new features of this 'image of Hungary’s renewal', which cost around Euro 93 million to renovate. more »

'Tired Of Lacking Vitamin D?', By FirstMed Budapest
'Tired Of Lacking Vitamin D?', By FirstMed BudapestThe term vitamin D is a bit of misnomer as it’s not really a vitamin; a scientist in the 1920’s mistakenly linked cod liver oil with the prevention of rickets in dogs. Little did they surmise that in fact vitamin D comes from sunshine by interacting with our skin, then circulating through the body. It acts beneficially on tissue and organs, not only assisting with maintenance but also repair. more »
