Xpat Community Ezine / Thursday 12 May 2016
Dear Member, first up is a top tip about a debut concert by a prominent expat.

Christopher Mattheisen, Chairman & CEO at telco giant Magyar Telekom, has a hiddent talent... Chris sings and plays music in his free time, and he recently invited XpatLoop to his new band's first gig at Budapest’s Backstage Pub.

You might be interested as ‘Chris & The Americana Project’ mix up rock, country, blues and folk in a way you might not have heard before, on some instruments you know - and some you might not. For more about this, and also an exclusive interview with Chris about his musical tastes, just click here.

Now here's hoping you like what's included for you below.
Yours with kind regards, Stephen@XpatLoop.com

New Beer Season Official Open In Hungary
New Beer Season Official Open In HungaryThe Association of Hungarian Brewers has officially opened the 2016 beer season. At its latest “Sör mi több” series of beer-themed events this year, particular emphasis is being placed on the raw ingredients involved, and women’s relationship with beer. Interesting to know is that only the female, conical hop cones are suitable for brewing beer - they give the beer an important aroma and its distinctive bitter flavour. more »
