The government has prepared a bill on fixing prices for books, in which publishers would fix the price of newly published books for a period of one year, so that during this time it would not be possible to give a discount to the shop from the price determined by the book publisher or importer.

Although the value of damages caused by bank-transfer fraud decreased in 2023, further efforts are necessary and the participants of the CyberShield programme are extending their cooperation until 2027, National Bank of Hungary (NBH) deputy director governor Csaba Kandracs has said.
