Moscowbased company Metrowagonmash has already delivered 5 trains, each consisting of 6 carriages, to Budapest, which are to enter service by the end of April, Bolla said.

Two metro trains collided on Budapest’s M2 line early on Monday, injuring ten people, Máté Kisdi, a spokesman for Budapest’s disaster management authority said. The accident happened after one train travelling in the direction of Déli railway station caught up with and ran into the back of another. Both trains were carrying passengers.
