The network dubbed “Véda” was financed in part by 14.5 billion forints (EUR 46m) of EU funds and will include 160 mobile speed cameras and 365 complex traffic control points on a total of 134 roads, Zsolt Halmosi told a press conference.

A Hungarian-Serbian border crossing on the Tisza river has been inaugurated in Szeged, southern Hungary. Foreign ministry state secretary László Szabó said the government aims to improve infrastructure between Hungary and neighbouring countries. Szabó said there are a total of 100 border crossings in Hungary, sixteen of which have been established since 2010.
