The opening and closing ceremonies of this summer’s World Aquatics Championships will cost Ft 3.8 billion, it emerges from the public procurement bulletin Közbeszerzési Értesítõ. The ceremonies will be held outside the Várkert Bazár on the Buda riverbank.

Kósa was asked at a press conference to comment on Fidesz MEP Tamás Deutsch’s remarks that Budapest should withdraw its bid to host the Games as soon as possible.
